Walk into most Swedish hotels and restaurants and you will see jugs of cold drinks and salads displayed on 'Cold-Plates'. These are lightweight insulated aluminium boxes in various sizes containing a special type of freezer liquid.

Place horizontally a freezer for 4hrs and they will stay cold for up to 6hrs.

On a shaded outdoor buffet at 24°C cold food will be unhealthily warm (+8°C) in ½ an hour, using cold-plates this time is extended to 2hrs, ideal for barbeques and summer parties.

The G320 1/2 size measures 320 x 263 mm and will fit in a standard freezer. The rubber feet make them easy to stack and multiple cold-plates be pushed together.
In Sweden the G320 is popular on hospital nursing wards which use domestic freezers.

Cleaning: Wipe clean, do not put in a dishwasher.
